What Does this CT Scan Result Mean?

Hi, I have been on antibiotics for 17 days (double dose) and will finish this up in three days. I had a recent CT Scan with the results shows below. I continue to have a headache, both ears still hurt and I don t know where to go from here. This is frustrating. I have had chronic sinus issues for 30+ years. Partial opacification with some residual ethmoid air cells. Inidcaiton of previous Partial ethmoidectomies performed. Bilateral maxillary sinuses clear. Ostiomeatal units widely patent.

Hi, i can completely understand and empathise with your frustration. chronic sinusitis can be a real frustration thing. Howvere i would like to advice you to do regular steam inhalations with vicks vapourub or menthol added in it to open the opacified sinus. If you are still having headaches and earaches i would advice you to show a neurologist and do a full workup for headache as it can be due to many other causes too. A ct scan of a head would be nice thing to begin with. DOnt go for antibiotics unles you have fever and yellow discharges from nose.. i hope you have a healthy life ahead
